Exhaust for 2010 V6 LS - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi im new to the forum and i have just bought my Camaro which is a 2010 v6 ls standard im looking to putting a new exhaust on just not a full exhaust with headers and such. But im looking to spend about $500 and ive had my eye on the slp loudmouth exhuast I i like the sound and looks sharp im wondering if i should purchase this or if there is any other ones that any of you suggest. Thank you

SLP Loudmouth I is a muffler delete. I hear a lot of V6 owners say a muffler delete on a V6 sounds bad. I think V6 owners recommend MRT 2.0.

I just looked at that mrt 2.0 i like that sound it sounds alot more cleaner i may choose this

Take a look at the Solo Mach cat back system. It is a full system with an a x pipe and resonator up front and tuning j-pipe in the back. Sounds great an they are the only people I know that can say "no 2k drone" and back it up.

must not have heard many reviews or real life people with the corsa. lol

To the OP, if i were to go with an axleback, i'd go with MRT v2.

Do it.....I have it and LOVE IT.....give the car a deeper tone.....at least 3 or 4 of us HTCC 6's are running it. HIGHLY recommended.

OH and btw.....Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

I have flowmaster axle back system, it sounds pretty good. With the long tube headers she sounds throaty. i almost went with dynomax exhaust but i've always wanted flowmaster. flowmaster, Dynomax, Magnaflow are my 3 favorite.

I took the MRT2 off after 2 days. The drone was unbearable at Interstate speeds. I put on the Corsa and it was perfect. I also have Corsa on my SS.......NO drone.

I almost went with the MRT but loved the sound of the flowmasters and under 500 total out the door price check out my pics and see comparison from stock.

I have the magnaflow axle back on my car and it sounds great. Check out youtube for some different systems.
