Dexos1 or Pure Synthetic
What is better in the LLT engine

I thought some full synthetics (or is that different from pure synthetic) were dexos1 certified? Like for instance, Mobil 1 has the dexos1 symbol on the back of it. I do know if you don't use a dexos1 certified oil that it can cause problems when it comes to warranty work.

I just bought a 5 Quart jug of Mobil 1 and it's got the dexos logo on it.

Dexos1 isn't a brand or type of oil. It is a Oil Certification that GM recommends.
Most synthetic oil such as Mobil 1 and Castrol Edge have the Dexos1 Certification.

My mistake I should have been more specific when I said Dexos1 oil I was referring to the ACDelco Dexos1 Synthetic Blend oil that they have at GM dealerships and is the factory full for all 2011 GM vehicles with gasoline engines
