Upgraded from 1SS to 2SS, having Issues - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi. I originally ordered a 1SS back in January, black with white stripes. I have since upgraded in order to get the leather seats, and my dealer said that the system would not allow him to add the LPO VYZ to the 2SS car, but it would allow him to add it to the 1SS.

He told me that the only way to get the ralley stripes in white with the 2SS was to order them in conjunction with the Hockey stripes. This seemed odd to me, so I was wondering if anybody else has had a similar issue.

Your dealer is an _____!

Tell him to try VYZ as an RPO code.

LPO = dealer installed
RPO = factory installed

While that may be the case, I still need to somehow deal with him. I would like to get stripes on my car; I feel that they add a whole new dimension to the look of the car.

White stripes are RPOs not LPO's

He's using the wrong code. White and Cyber Grey Rally Stripes are done at the factory. RPO not LPO.

To answer your question, yes you can get the white rally stripes without doing anything else. BE CAREFUL-> The hood/hockey stripe combo is a SOLID stripe on the hood.
