V6 K&N Aircharger Air Filter
I have a K&N Aircharger air filter I am selling. Was on my car for less then a month. It's for a V6 3.6L. It has the black tubing. It adds 15 HP to the car. Retails for $325. I'm asking 200 Obo. did this intake ever throw any codes whats the difference between this one and the typhoon series.

Honestly I wanted this one because of the black tubing. The typhoon has a chrome pipe. This one has a few more hp then the Typhoon. If the CAI is installed correctly then there shouldn't be any issues. A few people in my club had a check engine light with theirs on the v6. There is a mass air flow sensor cleaner that you spray on and that resolves the check engine light. It has to do with the different sizes of the stock piping from the K&N piping. The K&N is bigger which allows more air.
When this was on my car, it ran great and had noticeably more power with better gas mileage. I wouldn't be selling it if I wasn't trying to sell my car. |
