CAI Breather hose not wanting to go on...
Man, I am having some trouble with my 2012 V6 install. My breather hose is not wanting to go on and to top that off, I don't have a heat shrink cover. I'm kind of stuck and they just closed. Was yours difficult to get onto the ceramic tube outlet? My directions don't even mention the heat shrink part. ARGHHHH!!!!

My CAI Inc for my 2SS came with the small heat shrink coupler. Used my wifes hairdryer and it became a perfect fit.

I had the same problem 2days ago installing my cai inc. intake on the v6. I just bought some pvc hose for $1.35 at Autozone that fit perfectly snug.

Yea I went to advance auto and got the right size tube.

I tried vasoline and that didn't work at all...that tube was too small.

I'd contact Bill, he may have just sent the wrong hose (or if you are impatient like me, go buy the correct size hose). But like I said above you don't need the heat shrink for a V6.

I called yesterday, but it was right before closing and I just told him that the hose was not going on very easily. He told me to get it on as much as I could and use the heat shrink, which I didn't have...or need apparently. It's all good, I got it on there is love it. Little snaffoos only slow me down for a bit.

Ya I installed my CAI intake on my '12 this week and mine wouldnt fit either. I cut my stock one and made it fit.

Thanks Bill...great product by all accounts, just make sure that the right tube goes out. I was putting mine on at work and got a little frustrated trying to get that thing on after you told me it was the right hose. Tore my office up looking for that heat shrink and finally just said I would do what I had to do to get home.
