ZL1 Top Speed speculations?

What are the top speeds of the ZL1 in manual and automatic versions?

In the Nurburgring video, the ZL1 hits about 172 mph at about 6000 RPM. It looks like it had another 300 RPMs left before redlining and I have no idea what gear it was in at the time. If you figure the car has 6 speeds to help juggle performance and MPG then maybe it was still in 5th gear. Oh yeah, it also looked like it was going uphill.
Could the fastest top speed Camaro produced be a 175+ MPH speedster?

I recall reading 187 or 189 for the manual and 191 FPR the auto...

Also, if you look at any of the GM Press photos of the interior, you'd see the ZL1's speedo is of the 200mph variety...

I say 170 on a flat as in the nurburg video it is at like 169 then hits a downhill and gets to 172-173.

I'm wagering around 190 all out for the manual. CTS-V's auto was noted to top out at around 175, but not so sure what that will translate for the ZL1.

If it can pull a top speed in sixth, I say 180-185; otherwise - he'll be banging the limiter at about 175 in 5th.

.

The electronic limiter on my Hayabusa officially tops out at 186.

That was my personal land speed record for a while.

I want to beat it in my ZL1.

If you have enough horses & enough real estate, it can be done.

The manual CTS-V has a top speed of 191 mph, with the auto only going 175 mph.

I would expect the manual ZL1 (with it's 24 HP/5 ft-lbs power advantage, better aero, and presumably 100-200 lb weight advantage) to slightly improve on that top speed.

Manual ZL1 = 195 MPH
Auto ZL1 = 175 MPH (due to transmission limitations)
