Brembo Calipers

Is there anything I can do to clean or preserve the paint/finish on the calipers? They are getting dull looking and faded, from the heat I suppose? I plan to pull my wheels off soon to wax the back side of the rims and clean the wheel wells really good before putting the car away for the winter and I would like to address the calipers. My car is SGM and I have considered putting the "covers" over the calipers.
