GM adds things to vehicles almost every year. ie, the new 09 Tahoe got perforated leather, cooled seats, bluetooth, a six speed transmission, dual DVD player options, and new interior color layout. I wouldn't expect that much in the 2nd model year for the Camaro, but you will see a few new things every year.

I wonder if the "2011" features will be in the ones they start building this summer?

From what I understand, they wanted an extra long 2010 run, so it'll be well over a year until the 2011's go into production.

Dual front grill mounted rocket launchers to make traffic GTFO as you're coming through.

I am curious if things like the HUD and full ABL (if they come) would be offered as dealer installs on 2010 models or if you will have to have a 2011. Regardless, i'm buying the 2010.

By the time it is time for me to trade in this Camaro (you know, the one I don't have yet), I hope Camaro's come with the .50 cal traffic dispenser option and
the oh so sexy 'Sharks with lasers on their heads' package. That'd be awesome!

What's so great about a HUD anyway?

Ambient lighting could happen, IMO. But HUD requires a different kind of windshield, so that would be a very expensive add-on.

I think it's more of a distraction, actually... when I want to see my speed, I'll look at the speedometer. I'd rather not have random numbers floating around in my window. Especially if people are already complaining about visibility... why would you want to take up more space?
