Pricing in Germany - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm moving to Germany next month and then Deploying in June 2012 so I'm looking to sell my car before I leave. The question is would I get more for my car selling it in Germany than I would in the states or not. Reason I wonder is because they are on euros there so if I sell wouldn't they pay in euros and Germany's love going fast and since "American Muscle" is rare there I think it should sell fast. If anyone knows of a Germany site I can post my car for sale on pls let me know or if you have any info or advice or suggestions too, thx.

I am in the Army, and from my experience depending on your rank and assignment you may or may not be allotted to bring one vehicle with you at the expense of the Army. American muscle is rare because the cost of fuel is so expensive, nobody wants to drive them. Last I looked it was about 1.33 a liter, about 5 bucks a gallon. You would probably have a hard time selling it to a German, maybe another American Soldier might buy it.

I would say keep it and have it waiting for you when you come home from deployment, use the money you make deployed to pay it off. Park it in a garage, take out the battery and leave the trunk open.
