Formula Drift Logo Contest

UPDATE: READ POST 12!

I am entering this logo contest for Formula Drift. I just saw it when they posted it on Facebook a few days ago, but apparently its due on Saturday and has been going for a month already. I have one concept down and we are allowed to submit three.

It is for the one of the drift events at Road Atlanta. It has to say Drift Atlanta. Let me know what you think!

Here are the rules if anyone is interested:
http://www.roadatlanta.com/drift-logo-contest.lasso

Still deciding if I like the straight line glass effect or the curved line glass effect I did...

Still trying to come up with some more ideas! I will post them up if I can think of them lol

The straight lined one looks better IMO but both look good.

looks bank man, But keep in mind it says "no more than 4 colors" and you have 6 colors.

True. I forgot about the gradient variations. I need to take those out of the yellow. The black to gray gradient is fine though, since gray is just a percentage of black.

Thanks though, I would not have noticed!

No problem, but they might mean 4 colors to print for screen as well, and then the percentage wont work. You know what i mean. Its still would need additional screens.

And I emailed someone from Road Atlanta. They said the black grey gradient is fine!

Road Atlanta and Formula Drift Announce
Drift Atlanta Logo Contest Winner

Road Atlanta and Formula Drift recently created a once-in-a-lifetime VIP experience package for one lucky Drift Atlanta fan! Here's the catch…the winner had to design the new Drift Atlanta logo! The current logo needed a fresh new look so the contest encouraged our creative and dedicated fans to demonstrate what Drift Atlanta is all about…in a logo. There was very little criteria given, just design a logo for the most youthful and thrilling event that Road Atlanta hosts.

After receiving hundreds of submissions, we carefully looked through and picked out the new Drift Atlanta logo that best represented the look and feel of the event. Road Atlanta and Formula Drift are proud to announce Taylor Apt from Buena Park, California as our winner! Taylor wins an awesome VIP package for Drift Atlanta this Spring that includes 4 tickets to the event, a drift ride along, VIP seating in the announcer tower and more!

We would like to thank all the Road Atlanta and formula Drift fans for participating in this contest and look forward to seeing you all at the event, May 11-12!
