After having my first car dealer go out of business I just now put down another deposit for one at a bigger car dealership so hopefully I will have it around September or October. Either way I can't wait though I am bummed about no summer drives in the Camaro this year.

Aqua Blue Metallic 1LT RS with Polished wheels and white Rally Stripe's I can't wait

And I told them no dealer sticker too =)

Not to hijack but this is for the OP... You ordered today, who gave you the September/October date? I want to take delivery Nov. 1 so I am holding off to order until Aug 1. Is that a bad move? I was told about 8 weeks which would be Oct 1 but I am figuring longer at 12 weeks... Do you think I should order earlier to have a Nov 1. delivery date? My logic is I am selling my Corvette and want about 6 months of no car payment to bank some money so we figured Nov. 1 was a good time, just in time to miss the snow

I got the car for $28,510 so they didn't mark it up $5,000 more either. The dealership I bought it from said that they only had 5 they could pre-order and I got the last slot for it. They said they were allotted one a month and he said I would have it by September. Which makes sense since the first one to be unveiled is on May 6th May-Sept is five months.

If I were you I would order as soon as possible to make sure you get one before the year is up if not you probably will have to wait until next year or get one if there are any left over on the lot that may not have everything you want on it.

Lot car is not an option. We will order one, not really that big of a hurry anyhow.

I was told today 6-7 weeks if I order one today. We are putting a deposit down this week. 1SS with RS package. Not a penny over MSRP.

Did not go with the 2SS package because I am putting a leather interior in myself.

Aug/sept time frame seems about right. I ordered my 1ss IBM auto with RS package on 04/15/09. I was also told expect around aug/sept. Hopefully production ramps up a bit so that time stays acurate.
