Camar0 1LE Headlights/HALO

Hey Guys,

I am looking to see if they make HALO style lights for the 2013 Camaro, like the ones I have on my Viper. I love the look and don't want to get whole new headlights.

I figured I'd ask here before beginning the search.

Thanks as always guys!

I am probably wrong but I thought all the SS/1LE came with the RS package because it wasn't available on the 1LE because of the different wheels/tires. So the halos/HIDs and painted roof ditch moldings and darker taillights were included from the factory.

How did you manage to scarf one without it?

Maybe I can't recall correctly.

RS and 1LE were separate options, not dependant on each other at all.

But OP the RS headlights are probably your best bet to get halos. Check out gen5diy, they're a sponsor on here, they have plug and play harnesses for non rs to rs lights.

Thanks for the info, I guess I was unaware certain models came with HALO's? I'll check that out.

RS lights were halos.

Also Oracle and Nighowl (if they are still around) make aftermarket halos. Just got to break apart your headlight.

If you ever went to chevy.com/buildyourown the RS option was blocked as soon as you added the 1LE option.
If you had already added the RS option and tried to add the 1LE option it would warn you that the RS option would be deleted in favor of the 1LE option.

They were never independent.

The wheels and tires were different. The spoiler was unique to the 1LE.

Stripe packages could not be added because of the flat black hood wrap.
An automatic could not be added.
You couldn't add the ground effects.
You couldn't pay extra for any other wheels/tires.

The only true way of knowing is the RPO codes.

Factory halos justbfor reference since OP didn’t seem to know it was a factory option. Unless you do and perhaps I just misunderstood.

RS and 1LE are absolutely, positively, 100% independent from each other and always have been.

When I ordered my 1LE in 2013, I deliberately did no check the box for WRS, like many others on this very forum and no problems were had.

Yeah I dont believe that is accurate at all, considering I built my 1LE online at minimal 20 times. On chevy.com once you chose the RS package the wheels would change to the SS rims but the hood wrap would remain and the 1LE package would remain as well.

There are 1LEs that have the GFX, that was a dealer installed option as well as the stripe package. So it was possible to order a 1LE like that, just not on the website.

When I ordered my 1LE and had the sales manager click the WRS box, I questioned him about paying for the rims and tires (since RS package changes the color of the rims to some dusk gray or whatever).... still paid the full value, no wheels included. All you get is the body mold painted and the headlights basically.

RS package and 1LE package were 100% independent. Just like the NPP exhaust on 1LEs, independent options.
