The Hendrick Durham Auto Mall (in Durham, NC) will be sponsoring a Camaro and Corvette Auto Show on their property in May 2009. We're asking any and all who have a Camaro or Corvette (any model, any year) to come and show off their vehicles. The event will be completely free. Food will be provided to participants. Also, we're expecting to have a 2010 Camaro available to test drive.

THIS JUST IN:
We will have Rick Hendrick's two 2010 Camaros: VIN #00001 and VIN #00002 at the show!
We will also have Hendrick's two 1969 Camaros.
Possibly, the Daytona 500 Camaro Pace Car.

This is confirmed: Our Camaro show/unveiling WILL BE May 2, 2009. ON display at the show will be Rick Hendrick’s personal Camaro, the first one out of production, VIN ending in 0001. It is coming directly here from Canada. That will be something to see. Please help me spread the word. This will be a great event.

They are also trying to secure the Daytona 500 Pace Car driven by Tom Cruise

On May 2, 2009, starting at 10:30 a.m., we will be unveiling the 2010 Camaro here at Hendrick Durham Auto Mall in Durham, N.C. On display will be the very first production Camaro – the one that was purchased by Rick Hendrick himself, with VIN ending in 001. He is bringing it here from the plant in Canada. Also on display will be his entire collection of classic Camaros, and local Camaro and Corvette club members from the Triangle area here (Durham, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Cary, etc.) will be bringing their classic Camaros and Corvettes. We also expect to have a 2010 Camaro here from GM that people will have a chance to test drive. There will be free food and beverages, and this should be a great event. Anyone who wants to sign up to come or has questions about this event can call Paul Ensslin directly at (919) 667-2226

haha awesome, i ordered my car from that exact location, 2ss rs iom/iom all performance options. unfortunatly im still in iraq and wont be back until may 15th, but hopfully ill have a nice new camaro waiting on me when i do...if my car is there by then and anyone touches it...ill kill ya ;D
