pedders Xa install ?

I am installing a set of pedders XA coilovers on my SS I have a ? I have a5MM gap between the top bearing and the shock tower mount the bottom is properly installed no gap and the shock itself fills snug and does not move. I left out the soft bushing and lower shock washer as it says in the directions I have 2.5 MM of gap between the top shock nut and the pedders dampening adjustment nut. I will try to post pics. But the stock setup is touching the shock tower and the pedders is not is this correct? there are no pics of the pedders in the limited directions either provided or online from pedders.

Hey, I am not at home to take a closer look at what you are talking about, but when I get home I will check for you. For now, if you look in my album I have a picture of of my pedders and it appears that I have a slight gap as well.

Those pics are tiny but I'll try. The pic with the Pedders adjustment knob is perfect. No, it will not screw all the way down to the big nut.

You will have a gap between the top plate and the top of the strut tower if that's what you're referring to.

All your pics look like a perfect install. If you want to see something that will really mess with you, get in and turn the wheels all the way left or right. Get out and look at your strut towers. The gap will be huge on one side and very small on the other.

Again, looks right to me.

Yeah, if you haven't done it before it can put you in panic mode! I think that's the most asked question when lowering these cars.

Same issue with mine! It looks like I have even a greater gap than yours so no worries! Here's my thread http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=212458

Not sure how I missed your thread guess didn't look far enough down the page. My instructions didn't say anything about driving it then putting top plate sucks to tighten it up with wrench. Thanks
