Ok.

I don't have pics but the lady at the local gas station here in our neighborhood told me she saw an early 80s 2 seater vert Camaro at a place here son was moving in to.

She said she'd never really seen anything like it before. She took pics and asked the owner if she could look at it good and I guess in the glove box they found on the registration that it said Camaro CS Z28.

She was then told that it was a limited GM run and only 190 were made.

I don't have the pics but it looked early 80s in front and it was an obviousl F-Body Camaro. The rear had a long trunk lid going right up to the seats in the front.

Anyone know what the hell this is?

I told her I was unaware of any GM Camaro limited run like that and I think it's just a custom job somebody did but that I'd try and find out. Actually looked pretty cool but I've never seen or heard of anything like it.

If it were black it would look very batmobile-ish.

There were some companies that made "tonneau covers" that covered the back seats and came right up behind the front seats on 3 & 4th gen verts. That would be my best guess. I'm not sure about the CS-z28 part though.

I've seen an 80 second gen vert, was a custom by roman chariots.

looked great with the top down, kinda funky with the lid on.

Never heard of a factory run of 2 gen verts, ever.
