Finally got to see one in person!

I'm sure y'all are tired of these threads by now, seems like there's been a million. The local dealership here had the May 6th thing going on today - they had 2 Auto V6's, a black and a yellow one. Unfortunately, neither were RS. The yellow one was sold already, but the black one was not. If the dealer has not sold it by morning, they're going to call me and let me take it for a spin. I'm not holding my breath. There were a ton of people around the black one. There was no way I could get a shot of that one. I did get a couple of the yellow one, on the floor, but they're close and the iPhone only does so well.

I ordered a 2LT/RS Black/Black 6M on 3/19/09. I am 13th of 13 allocations. Dealer charged me about 1400 over MSRP. Only dealer in town and the couple that I checked out nearby didn't have any allocations left. Not a good deal, but not even close to what some dealerships are charging. According to the chick I've been dealing with, 9 orders have been put through - neither of the cars on the lot today were part of that allocation. I do not know how many of the orders have actually been delivered, but I'll try and find out tomorrow, when I speak with the dealer again. Both cars today have a sunroof, which was good (imo, I know!). From all the lurking I've been doing on this forum, it was the only concern I had left, considering I had yet to see one in person. Once the seat was lowered all the way, I have way more than enough head room - I'm about 6'3''.

I just noticed the Deputy in the background of the 2nd picture. I hope that's the last time I see him around a Camaro!

i wonder if that kid in the 2nd picture knew it was gonna be a yellow Camaro, and wore that shirt to match! lol
