No resemblance
This morning at 7-11 while getting some coffee, a guy standing near the entrance says, " that is one of them Shelby Mustangs", I just smile and proceed on my mission to get coffee. On my walk back to my car I say to him, "its actually a Camaro 2SS/RS" to which he replies, " oh yea I remember those I had one in 1967", me " have a good day" LOL!

Every couple of weeks a guy at work asks me "How's that Mustang treatin' ya?" The first several times I corrected him, but he still asks the same question, and he still has no idea that it's a Camaro.

Mine is a Mopar/ Shelby 5.0 Camaro with a V-7 inline diesel.
I used to know a guy who was a compulsive liar. Nice guy, but somewhat of a mental case. One afternoon, a very gnarly 7- Series drove past us. He took that opportunity to boast that he had a Mercedes just like it at home. I pointed out the German car that had just rolled past us was actually a BMW, to which he responded, "Yeah, sure, I know THAT... mine's a BMW Mercedes." Needless to say, I was quite impressed with his taste, and ability to collect very rare automobiles. |
