Loud Pedal Motorsports visit

Headed down to LPM tomorrow to drop off a friends 04 CTS-V, for a bunch of fun work, thinking about a couple of dyno runs while I'm "in the neighborhood", just to see what she's throwing out there. I'm thinking I should be just north of 400. What says the congregation? Rotofab, VMS tune, DT LT, no cats, DT cat back. Kirk? Any guesses?

Depends on which dyno.
If its a DynoJet, I'd guess 375-385.
400+ out of an automatic is pushing it, for those mods IMO.

LS3 manual, yeah, 405-415.

Sorry, L99, and yes they use a Dynojet. Any guesses on my buddies CTS-V? LS6, Volant CAI, Kooks LT, no cats, Corsa cat-back, dyno tune. Taking numbers here!

I had my car dyno'd at LPM (LS3 6sp), and they were surprised I dyno'd where I did with similar mods to yours. My best pull was 412. The SAE is in my sig.

Well, you guys were closer than me. 363hp@5800rpm, 360ft/lb@3900rpm, taken at 109 degrees f. They said I picked the worst possible time to do a run, and I'd have probably gotten another 10-15hp if it were just 10 degrees cooler. Now I'll start saving my pennies for the LS3 conversion.

We talked about his car a bunch today! That car is pretty wicked, he puts down some serious numbers!

Here's the chart. A/F looked rock solid, but man that chart is kinda hinky!

LPM is a great shop (just left there actually) but ya doing a dyno at 109 degrees is not going to give you good results.

Good info guys, I actually use loud pedal also. Steve is an awesome guy and wont screw you around. I actually have a tune scheduled with them after I install my kooks 1 7/8" headers, high flow cats, and Kooks 3" exhaust, and intake. Im hoping for around 370-380. Mine is the L99 so maybe lower but only time will tell. Then to speedworld to run it.

I am planning on having LPM do my ZL-1 Fuel Pump and rear suspension upgrades. They have been good to work with so far; answering all my questions.

I have L99 with Kooks Stepped Headers, a Cold Air Inductions CAI with adm scoop, and a Janetty Tune. I put down 363rwhp and 368 rwtq on a Dynojet at Extreme Motorsports in Glendale (they are a mustang shop...my buddy has a supercharged 05 GT and I followed him down there and decided to run it last minute). Ran a 13.1 at Firebird at 109mph two weekends ago. I couldn't get any traction in first on the stock P's and the track was prepped horribly.

I have a Edelbrock Eforce SC on it's way, but I will be doing that install myself with the help of some of my buddies.

Glad to hear LPM is the way to go in AZ. It's been a pain trying to find a good shop.

Glad to hear LPM has a good reputation. I look forward to them doing some work on my car.

I just ran at firebird this past weekend, I'm running similar mods and my best there was 13.084 @ 109. In my opinion that track is prepped horrible and could not get traction there at all. I think speedworld is the way to go. I ran a 12.93 @ 111.55. That track is prepped a lot better and everybody I talk to prefers speedworld over firebird. I hear a lot of people of loosing traction and nearly smacking the walls. Hit me up sometime. If you wanna go run at speedworld, I'm always down if I'm in town.
