91 Silvarado LS1 swap

This has been my side project up until I bought my Camaro. Figured I would share it on here. I've never really taken a lot of pictures but I just got a better camera so I'll try and get some better ones.

A little history
The trucks been in the family its entire life and its what I learned to drive in so I never really wanted to get rid of it. It became sort of a project for me and my dad over the years when id get an idea we'd practice welding, painting and whatnot just to see if we could. Eventually the V6 wasn't enough and I came across a good deal on an LS1 and figured id give it a go.

After a few years collecting what I could find in the junkyard, I finally quit making excuses, bit the bullet and bought the rest of what I needed. Took me about a week to do, working on it on and off.

Looks and sounds good strange flavor!! Curious as to what kinda HP no's it's putting out and what kinda QM times? Ought to be pretty good with those 4.56's! I thought about putting an LS1 (or 2nd, 383) in my 96! Just would like to follow a DIY for some guidance!
Sounds like you plan on never getting rid of the truck and I feel the same way about mine! I got mine new in 96!
Thanks for sharing with us and look forward to seeing some more pics!!

It did 375 whp 330 ft-lbs torque. It should pick up more when I fix the exhaust, its kinda rigged right now. I've been waiting to go to the track after I pick up some slicks because it won't hook up with whats on it now lol.
