nitrous i go

Just spent the cash and my triple threat system is on its way. Having it sent overnight. Total cost 845. Not to bad. Any advice about installing, the local shop wants to charge 400. Figured I would do it myself and save 400.

You'll have to let us know how it goes. I have spent a lot of time looking and still haven't been able to pull the trigger. Still a little scared about hurting it. Good luck!

I will let you know. I talked to the people at DEI and they told me the 100 shot on stock tune is very safe in the way they designed the kit.

It's a fairly simple install. Just follow the instructions closely. The hardest part is routing the NOS bottle feed line under the car if you do not have a lift.

etmx183 installed his and was very helpful as well. If you run into problems send me a PM for my contact info.

Good luck with the install!!!

Well just finished installing the kit. Took me and a friend 4 hours to do. Was not very hard. Hardest part was getting the schrader valve out. Bought a valve stem removal tool from advanced auto. Took care of that. Other than that the directions are strait forward. If you have basic tools and some patients then it is very easy. Now just need to get the tank filled. I put in the jets for the 50 shot to start with and will go from there. Will post pics tomorrow. almost 2am. Time to crash. Do have one question. When I push the purge button I can hear the Solenoid click but when I push the WOT switch i get no click. I am assuming this is because of the Fuel Pressure Safety Switch? Car needs to be at wide open for it to activate the Solenoid?

The Nytrex System is a great system we did a lot of the first prototype work on that kit for DEI and tried to make it as simple as possible to install. When completed hard to tell its even there. You guys may want to check this out

Make sure you get your pressure gauge in the bottle before you fill it. The fuel pressure switch must have full pressure BEFORE the WOT switch will work. Keep pressures in the Upper portion of the green band around 1000psi. On a 50 shot you will feel a nice push in the seat of your pants. Nothing like the fake stuff on Fast and Furious " AT THIS SETTING". Enjoy the kit you will find yourself having fun very quick once you try it. I have had my kit for about 6 months and about 125 runs all is working good. Make sure you have premium fuel when you spray. Any questions feel free ask.

The Fuel Pressure Switch is preventing the NOS solenoid to activate. You will have to use a screwdriver to cross the terminals on the FPS and then you should hear the solenoid click at WOT.

Congrats on the install. Can't wait to see results. Reemeber, No "Traction Control" or "Stability control". Good luck getting traction

Ok awesome. Yea jst woke up. Now I need to go out and put my car back together. Finished the install and came home last night so i have wires strung out in the interior. Where is a good spot to mount the switches? and also is premium fuel a must with the system or just better?
