Camaro resembles which previous gen camaro?

I need Camaro5 and it members help.

I know the Chevy site use to tell us lots of facts, that disappeared when it was redesigned.

Now the question at hand:
What year was the 2010 Camaro, redesigned from?
1967
1968
1969
I have gotten a different opinion from everyone I talk too.

Thanks for you assistance with my question, Camaro forever!

if you look at a pic of the 2010 side body lines (especially rear quarters), then look at the 69' side body lines..............you'll see it

plus, the 69 was the only 1st gen with the square instument cluster!

It has a 69 style grill and quarter gills... but the wheel openings, fender lips, and belt line are definitely 67/68 style. Since it doesn't have wing windows, it looks like a stylized 68 Camaro with a 69 grill. lol

Why would anyone think it's something other than 1969?

"Sangyup Lee, "I was kind of glad I didn't know how strong of an icon the Camaro was when I was first working on the project," he admits.
a 38-year-old designer who was doodling in kindergarten in Seoul the last time Carmaros were hot Mr. Lee says the bigger challenge was that he "hadn't grown up in a family with a big garage full of hot rod cars" like some of his classmates, and that he lacked (car) culture."
