New world record!!!

Had the SS less than two weeks, had less than 200 miles on it and some guy in a pest control truck rearended me. I'm heartbroken.

That's terrible. Hopefully you are alright, but cars can always be fixed, and hopefully your Camaro will see a speedy recovery :(

Im sure this record has been beaten, but definitly not one you want to be in the running for. Sorry for your luck. Get her well soon.

So devistating. I think I'm okay. I'll have a better idea in the morning. It's driveable so I assume it's fixable, but still. Same thing happened when I bought my 01 Firehawk. Was rearended twice in the first month I had it. Just wasn't as badly damaged as the SS.

Get your depreciation from his insurance company. Minimum of around 11% of what you paid. Above and beyond the repairs.

I wish. I have a 2005 tahoe with 120K miles on it and doesn't even have a door ding. But the brand new car gets the whammy.

I'm going through my insurance company. They said there would not be a raise in my rates and I'll get it fixed quicker. They will subrogate the loss and recoup from the at fault driver.

Ask them about depreciation. You may have to be insistent. Just remember this goes on the Carfax as a major accident. Your car is not worth as much now.
