I need some help with my purchase
I have a big decision to make by the end of today. My dealer has a Cyber Grey 2SS coming in (Which is the exact color I want) but it's optioned a little odd. They're telling me they put the RS package on it, but then went with the polished wheel option (seems goofy to me as you're already paying for a wheel option in the RS package) and it's got black stripes (Which I asked them if I purchase to leave off).
They told me they are selling AT sticker but he estimated me at 37500... I'm only coming up to 36365... My other option, by the end of today I can modify one of their slots for a build to whatever I want. Which I'd likely get a 1SS to save money but then cry about it later cause I'd want leather and gauges... but this I'll have to wait who knows how long for. Anyhow, does 37500 sound fair for this setup? I'm just on that edge of pulling the trigger and need to be pushed over it I think. THANKS!!! |

That's about right for an automatic. Polished wheels are an additional $4?? when added to the RS package.

Just got off the phone with the dealer. Apparently it IS an auto...
Everyone else is to May and June allocations and I'm hearing about 5 different stories about how long it'll take to get in. I just don't know if I can commit to a car that'll take 3 months to get here. Our summers in NY are short. |

I'd be pretty bored with the auto... that and all my friends would laugh at me. They're already giving me a horde of crap for going domestic. I used to own an import performance shop... it's very unlike me.

I just don't want to spend 40k and have regrets...
I don't want to buy an auto just to have it before other people, and then a year later regret buying it. |

HELL no. I agree. If you really want the Standard by all means, get it. Don't settle. You'll be cool with it til there is a Camaro on every corner then you'll wish you didn't.

yah thats about what he said it was
sigh I've called every dealer within 200 miles... everyone wants me to build and no one has a clue when it'd get in. Theres ONE other dealer with one coming in orange but it's build date is end of this month. Looks like I might have to buy something else. :( |
