Can someone who KNOWS their car is shipped or has their car call the 1-800 number?

dude, i've read (and posted) about this..................yes it's TRUE! dealers aren't even being given info.

TPW's weren't correct anyway, so no biggie.

See in some cases TPWs were dead on and sometimes not... so nobody has any clue whats going on. In his defense the GM rep said they cant sort everything out over there and its a mess....

This is one collossal **** up by GM.

Any dealers out there have a 2SS, Black, IOM interior, polished wheels, 6 speed with a sunroof on the lot? I will buy it cash tomorrow or finance it whatever you want for MSRP, and no I am not kidding. Its F-ing ridiculous its come to that, I put my money down back in June and these f*cks cant give me any info.

I feel your pain. Mine's produced and has been sitting in quality control for three weeks. I put my deposit down in July of '08. I don't want to jump ship but if it is there much longer, I can't guarranty I'll have any more patience.

I'm trying to give GM and my dealer the benefit of the doubt but this information black out has seriously rocked my confidence.

Everyone has choices to hang in til the car arrives, buy it else where, buy something else or just drop out entirely. People on this site have done all of them so far.

I just want to see if this is complete bullshit or not. If someone knows for sure their car is built and in transit, or has their car and can call that would be a big helpful little science experiment..

it's coming, really it is. ur R6P code will be well worth the wait. they're not giving info cuz when they estimated wrong, folks got bent................

i know mines at 3000 per the workbench. i called a couple times and my dealer even called. they're not giving out info (or correct info). ur dealer just has to check the workbench for event code updates..........that's all anyione can do right now.

Dealer told me he isn't even getting updates... he called GM and they said that 2 of their first 4 orders MIGHT be on a train, but they don't have the VINs. Dealers are selling cars on ebay, and these guys have only gotten their 1 lot car.

I don't even think I'm gonna have R6P because I'm pretty sure my dealer re-keyed my order (on 4/11) cause he said the newly keyed orders were getting better TPWs.

man i hope not. i'm kicking myself for not ordering sooner to get an R6P code. maybe GM stopped updated workbenches for the dealers too...............

Same thing here... know it was produced last week, but no VIN. For giggles I called the 1-800 number and didn't tell them what I already knew... they told me it was indeed made last week but that's all they know also. I have a feeling this thing will either be lost in QC forr a while, or just show up un-announced.
