Hi guys, I remember a while back that somebody posted a 1-800 number that you could call, give your order code to, and they could give you an idea of your TPW. I tried searching for the number but cannot find it. Could somebody post it here if they know it? Is the info they give you reliable?

TPW's aren't being given anymore. Even for the people who did get them, they aren't even accurate.

You should just worry about getting info from your dealer. All the customer service people do is just call your dealer for the info you are looking for anyway.

Agree with the above, even the few who were given a TPW the info wasn't accurate.

Man, wouldn't be great to have a website (GM of course) that was updated by the same assembly system used in Oshawa that you could track your status and build with your order number instead of having to rely on the dealership or other 3rd party? Heya GM, talking to YOU!

The number works you'll get a baffled worker who will either call your dealer or look it up themselves and say "The best source for information is the dealer." and will tell you what the dealer said or nothing at all

If thats the case then my dealer have nothing but lier's there. I asked them where my car was and they said it was only at 1100 yet GM C.S. said it had a TPW and was in production. I understand TPW's are not accurate but he said it was pick up for production. So that would mean that my dealer is trying to sell my car out from under me.

I'd believe a dealer before someone on that support line. Go down there to see your order in the system or get a new orderWorkbench printout. It'll show your status. If they won't show you it on the computer they should have no problem printing you an updated order detail. That will show your current event code.

Good luck. Hope you get a good printout and aren't stuck at 1100 like many of us still are

But if you are still at 1100 that would explain why they can't tell you any info....there's no info to give. Might also ask them if they have had any allocations yet if you were the first order and it hasn't moved.
