Cat Delete?
I have a v6. I currently have MAC mufflers on it and it sounds great. Doesnt idle as loud as i would like.. I have been thinking about deleting the Cats and welding pipe in. Anyone done that before ? (not on my own obviously). Exhaust shop (trusted and well recommended). Anyways, wondering if anyone has done a cat delete and if so, i would LOVE to hear it.

it is probabl illegal wherever you are to delete all of the cats. you could do a rear car delete. But the rasp will increase with deleting the cats. Also, you could do a resonator delete instead.

Rasp city #3 lol.
The best way to get Very close to loud and no rasp is Helmholtz theory aka solo exhaust. No rasp and no drone (a little with no cat) but it was just way too loud just to go to the grocery store, but if you want loud, deep, close to what me and jak called v8 hybrid rumble would be to go catless with solo cat back. Not for the faint of the heart lol. Especially when she rev up to 5k plus ![]() Jay@TEAM MACE USA/TEAM LLT! Direct email: Velocityport410@gmail.com |

luckily its not illegal in florida. My car already drones decently loud. if i was technologically savy id love to post a video, however im not. I just want a little more head turning. I mean its already yellow with blacked out everything and 22" rims shit looks clean. But im getting tune and cold air this month and want a little more in the sound category. Then its time to save up for the STS turbo
