Nice. I wish GM would do something like this.

No kidding, a "factory SS" would be easy to do.

Crew Cab Silverado...use the 6.2L V-8 (403HP) and the AWD setup out of the Sierra Denali. Drop the suspension an inch or so (keeps most of the usability), slap some nice 20's on it, use a product specific leather and interior accent kit. Put a fiberglass lid on the bed and a roll pan out back. Twin exhaust pipes sticking out under the roll pan (not through it).

Then, supercharge it and tune it, run it up to around 500 or 520HP. You'd sell way more than the SRT-10 just because it was AWD. A 7-speed tranny with fairly tall 6th and 7th gears could help with fuel economy too.

I actually almost bought one of the last gen Silverado SS's, because I could drive it year round...it just didn't give me the room I needed with only the extended cab.
