I was quickly reminded why I will never let anyone drive my SS again.

I work in retail and my car is parked directly in front of my store. So these two guys pull up next to my car in a truck and they unload a pressure washer. The one guy hooks up the water hose and fires the pressure washer up. I immediately went outside and told the guy to give me five minutes to have someone move my car away from that crap. (I'm in a wheelchair which meant I couldn't move it as fast.)

So I asked one of my coworkers to move my car a few spots down in the other handicapped spot. Not thinking, he pulls my car up, all the way to the concrete stopper. My front end has less than an inch of clearance so I avoid all stoppers. What's scary is that I'm about to put some GFX on my car including a new front splitter. Had this happened next week, my coworker would have easily ripped off my new splitter not knowing any better.

Lesson learned? I will never let anyone drive my Bee again. Best way to stop these potential catastrophies is to avoid them.

That is a perfect reason to never let anyone drive it.

No, because as I said, my current setup clears the stoppers by like an inch. Next week would've been a whole different and terrible outcome.

It really is. My coworker didn't know any better because I didn't give him the heads up. I didn't think about it either because I was in a hurry to move my car before the pressure washer guys got crap on my car.

This is why even my wife will not drive my car. She's always worried about something happening to my car if she's behind the wheel.

Most GFX kits don't lower the ground clearance, they just change the angle of approach. So most likely you would have been fine as well if you had it on.

I don't know of a single gfx kit that will clear a parking stop...... Personally I know Razzi and GM don't.....

Don't fret over something that didn't happen.
