Carefully pop out with a flat head screw driver then wrapped with matte black vinyl.

It is held by 3 clips, by using the flat heat and cloth pop it out by the sides of the bowtie.

Looks great! After seeing your all black bowties, I am now convinced to do the same with mine! I only have the center black, but I hadn't seen another ZL1 completely blacked out. That is definitely the way to go!

I just ordered some painted flat black bowties. The only chrome pieces remaining are the lug nuts and the ZL1 emblems. Both of those will be remedied soon!

Your ZL1 looks sick BTW. I had a 2011 VR SS before the Z, love that color! Thanks for posting your pics!
