If you have the car, its too late. The dealer can add the items individualy, quite costly though....

How long has it been? Have you done your survey yet? If your answers are: "not long ago", and "not yet", return it and get one with the RS trim.

....the RS package does not include stripes. You would have to get those seperate even if you did add on the RS package.

Check out the marketplace here on the forum. You might find a deal from someone who upgraded their wheels. The HID headlights may be a bit tougher. If its a must, call your dealer and see what they can do for you.
Good Luck!

It's always cheaper to order or buy the car with the options you want, rather than add them later. The dealer is going to charge you an hourly rate to install the stuff you want. As far as the stripes go, they are not part of any RS or SS package, they are merely an option that can be added to any model Camaro.

Don't worry, be happy. You have a Camaro!

This^ and an LT with the RS package would have cost you $2475 more

You've got a '12, so you should already have the spoiler and tail lights. You can add the headlights, but they are not plug-n-play. You'll need and adapter harness from Offer or OttoBody. Or you can do EagleEyes, which look like RS head lights and are plug-n-play. Also, the entire front fascia has to be removed to change the head lights. You can change the wheels and tires and add the emblems. The only thing left would be body-colored roof ditch mouldings and shark fin, but nobody really notices them anyway. And like somebody already said, the RS package doesn't include stripes. You can buy them seperately from the dealer, or even cheaper aftermarket. You can also have a body shop paint them on.

Isn't the 2012 2LS eligible for the RS package? Or am I confusing some other option?

Nope.

The 2LS is NOT eligible for the RS package which is what the OP has.

Habe, if you want the RS package, you will have to trade your car in and purchase a 1LT or a 2LT in order to get the RS package.
