has anyone experienced this?

Had something really wierd happen with my camaro today. I went leaving my local walmart this morning and someone went to pull in front of me. I was just manuvering around the parking lot so I only had the car in second and it was getting warm (the car had been sitting) so I had the AC on full. Well, someone started to pull in front of me and I slammed on the brakes, comming to a complete stop. realizing they were pulling in front of me, the other car stopped and let me go. when I went to drive off the car seemed real sluggish, and and I barely kept it from stalling going to the traffic light...........still in 2nd gear. when I got on and the main road where I could get some speed up, it still felt sluggish. so i kept it in a lower gear and gave it more gas, and it gave me this shaking feeling. It's hard to explain, but it was like a small four cylinder with one plug wires disconnected. the car would still run, still rev, but giving it a lot of gas would get me that shaking feeling. then, on my way home, i had to go up a steep hill. very steep, like mountain steep. so I gave the car a lot of gas, and it shook the same, but the stabilitrac light slowly came on. when I let up off the gas, it went out. it continued with the shaking when I gave it a lot of throttle. I then decided to pull over, turn the car off, and turn it back on. after that it was back to normal.

I figure it had something to to with the stabilitrc, but what? it wasn't the TC light, it was the one with the little car and curvy lines. but I was going completely straight when I had the incident with the other car.

I used to have a 2011 Gt mustang before trading it on my 2011 2SS L99 and the same thing happened to the ford I had. I turned it off than on and everything was fine. Computers can be your friend or a problem, but when in doubt restart, Hope that helps. Oh to add the engine light did come on then it went off after the restart.

Could be a stuck piston in the brakes. If it's dragging the brake it'll cause a shudder since one side is trying to slow you down. You can see if it is by putting it in the air and seeing if the wheel turns easily or not. Does it pull to the left or right at all? If not then it could be a rear caliper.

I've had something like that happen the only time I had to take it into service.

It seemed like a cylinder was missing, and ended up that the fuse box had corroded and wasn't giving a spark to one cylinder.

Have OnStar check the code, and take it into your dealers. Mine was sporadic, and seemed to go away when I wiggled a spark plug wire (actually jostling the fusebox), which would make it go away. It was drivable, and I had intended to drive it in to service. Ended up giving up on me in the middle of nowhere at night.
