Just posted a new thread in the DIY section.

It shows how you can flip and use the original factory license plate holder below the bumper and not cut or drill anything. Need a few parts at the hardwares store, but will cost you about $4.00 and about ten minutes of time.

Did mine this way as well, decided I didn't like the plugs in the holes, so put it back on, zip tied, but higher. (originally removed because the stupid dealer riveted it on crooked)
