Calling all engine gurus...

This application is a 14' zl1 auto. Looking for a solid 560-580rwhp without spray. This car will see approximately 300hp of spray at some point.

I plan to use a stock air box with a better pipe/elbow. Also using a stock TB, and nothing will be ported. 2.55-2.38" upper (have not decided yet), but I might as well because I'll have to replace the spring coupler. I'm thinking of keeping the lower/HB stock. If this thing did not have such a tiny cam, I would not replace it, but... I'm only going to a LS9. I'm going with LTH and cutouts. The N2O system will be supplied with a stand alone fuel system (C16).

I do not want to have to replace the fuel pump. I do not even want a BAP. You might say, I want to hit the comfortable limits of a zl1 pump, while optimizing gains on the spray.

So, my specific questions are:

How much safe RWHP with a stock (no BAP) zl1 pump?
At this RWHP, what are the smallest injectors I could safely use?

Extended question:

Assuming a great tune, and a well control nitrous system, will the factory top ring gap be a problem? Will the factory head gaskets and ARP bolts be sufficient to keep from lifting a head? Or, Cometic and studs be necessary?

Why would you even go through the trouble of doing head bolts(studs better) head gaskets an ls9 cam etc ... To squeeze a 300 shot on stock Pistons ... One error or miscalc and you just lost your motor...

Your car is gonna run so so , the 6-10 degrees of timing retard (probably) for the nitrous and the 2-3 steps cooler plugs

Or you are going to have to be able to flash tunes...

Lot of Cyl pressure with the n20 and boost.

Your blower has soo much potential when combined with the right upgrades and you only spend the money once, no refills and the power upgrades are extremely reliable

Check out our power packages.

Our 125 RWHP package will put you right at your goal and you can hold it wide open until you run out of gas and it won't break.

I run this package on my personal ZL-1 and beat it like a pinata with never a wimper.

If that is not enough my 750 crank HP or better known as our 650 RWHP package will turn your car in to a monster.

Be happy to discuss your options.
