Okay, so I've installed my Rx Catch Can to keep the oily crud out of my intake... from this point forward. My car had 4,000 miles on it when I installed the can and I would like to clean the accumulated crud (if any) out of the intake.

How do I do that? Pictures and easy to follow instructions much appreciated - Thanks all.

I heard seafoam works well. Haven't tried it myself yet though. Im guessing u have the v6?

I wouldn't bother at only 4k miles. I highly doubt it would be enough to do much of anything. Yes seafoam works well but again not needed in your situation.

I wouldn't mess with it. The slightest bit of whatever gunk is there is meaningless. Kinda like there is some carbon on the exhaust valves. Often the little crap here and there is just best left alone.
