Who has used Street Scenes GFX on their Camaro?

I have my street scene kit but I'm very unhappy with the quality of the panels. I've heard from some people that you need to dry or test fit the panel(s) or front splitter for fitment. but these panels look like they will need some major "adjustments".

is this normal for this brand of GFX or did I get crap?

heheh...

I'll jump in here I reckon. I've done about half a dozen of the splitters (4 on one car alone) in the last couple years or so.

None of them fit good. The CF one is better but still fits like garbage.

You really need to test fit em and get em as close as you can before installing them. And even when you do, don't settle for the handful of screws that they give you. Use adhesion promoter, and twice as many screws and you'll be fine.

The Side Skirts are better but eh....all body kits need some work so.

Good luck, hope that helps.

thanks for the replies but I decided to avoid them altogether and seek other options. my painter knows how picky I am about my car and he was 99% sure I wouldn't have liked the look(s) with the fitment on my SS.

so now I get to eat a 15% restocking fee and I have to pay like $50 to ship the boxes back to CA.

I figure I'm out roughly $150 for this crap. oh well, live and learn........

that's a good idea but I'd feel guilty about pawning crap on to someone else.

I'll accept the $150 loss, lick my wounds and move on...

Not necessarily. I bet someone would love to get a cheaper than retail version of the street scene kit. Just be upfront

^^ agreed - as long as you're upfront about it - sell it for what you paid minus the restocking fee/shipping...

Just let them know it doesnt fit so great

I see you made your mind up already. Mine fit great, but my bodyshop is just as picky as me so they made them fit nice.
