Self-install of OEM leather in my 1LT!
Gotta admit I'm pretty proud of myself right now. Two hours, some choice expletives, super sore hands and 40 hog rings later, I've got the formerly cloth backseat of my 1LT successfully re-upholstered with OEM leather from an SS. I got the leather for a steal but was quoted between $350-$700 for the install. Figured it was nothing I couldn't do myself with a little patience so I ordered hog rings and specialty pliers and got started tonight. The DIY here really helped me! I have had everyone telling me to let the professionals do it; even though I'm only halfway through I'm sure glad I tackled this myself.
The back seat is the easiest, I hear, but it's done! I'll do the front seats later this week after work. Some pics...      And the finished product!
