You've left out too much information for anyone to give a decent opinion.

Just in general, I wouldn't buy a used SS, because I wouldn't trust that the previous owner didn't get rid of it because of problems, made poor modding choices, drove it like an idiot, or ran a crappy tune etc. But that's just me. Someone buying mine used would be getting a good car, but mine isn't going to be traded in anytime soon.

What type LT, RS, SS? What year? How many miles? Mods? many questions need to be answered before you could have an idea if 25-28K is a good price.

Since it can be nearly impossible to tell if it was modded and retuned to stock for the sale, I wouldn't buy used. My SS new was $33k so it would be really tough to pay $28k used. If I knew 100% that a used one had not been modded nor had any persistant issues, I suppose $25k might be a reasonable price. Of course, different areas of the country have different used pricing ranges.

thanks. It really has to do with the mods, some can put more stress on the valve train, cause the engine to run too lean, blow seals etc. But like I said that's just me. After reading car forums you see dumb stuff people do and you don't want to be the guy that buys someone else's uh oh.

Sorry I can't help you out with anything to do with ground effects. I believe most exhaust system descriptions note whether it work with or without. Some have different part numbers for the GFX.

Famous last words...........

Some here call modding a way to improve their cars performance & appearance by isntalling aftermarket performance parts.

I call it an addiction

I bought my 2011 SS used. Bought it about 3 months ago. It had 2800 miles on it at the time. I think it was 30k maybe 32k. Can't remember. Plenty of warranty left. We checked around and a new 2012 at the time was around 40k equipped the same.

Found it a Land Rover dealership.
