Stupid?

Is this stupid? I have a VR 1lt RS but still has plastic EVERYTHING inside and I just ordered the oem leather steering wheel with red stitching to replace my rubber wheel. Will this look weird? I got it for 100 which I thought was a great price and I know I'll love the feel but not sure if it will look right with everything else in the interior . . Opinions? Besides I should've gotten a 2 lt lol

I have seen those wheels, they look pretty nice. It's your car, do you want with it.

Not stupid, next you can paint your plastic door panels and dash trim VR, check out BowtieBelle's thread where she installed new seat covers in leather, you could get black with red... Check out Lloyds mats, get a combination of black and red, red billet pedals... LOTS you can do and it's only stupid if you don't like it when you're finished!

Sounds like a good idea to me - I swapped my plastic shift knob for a nice leather one.

I think it will look great, not stupid at all. A steering wheel is one of those high-touch pieces that should feel good in your hands. $100 is a bargain, too, considering what you'd have to pay a dealer to order one new.

It'll look nice but you will need to get the leather shift knob to match it properly.

Yea me neither . . I just assumed it was custom. Althought I think all I the 12s and 13s have leather steering wheels. I didn't think they had leather seats though.
