Heads up for renewing your XM from trial

This may not be the best deal or anything but I just renewed my XM premier service for $34.99 and 6 months. Great discount of over $70. The guy on the phone was giving me only 1 month free and I was like "I got a letter in the mail that said it was a lot cheaper" (not knowing what he would throw my way) and this came out. They won't offer this but just ask them.

Anways just a headsup!

That is a good discount - normally it's $9.99 per month.

if you like XM just buy the lifetime one, doesnt show in the initial page, but when you go to the buy it one it asks you which you want, it has a lifetime offer. You can move it from radio to radio and car to car for life.

So if your keeping XM for more than 3 years (when I did it thats what it came out to equalling if I payed yearly) on any car then it pays for itself.

I asked about this and the guy said they don't offer it anymore? I am going to speak with another person from there. I want the lifetime plan!

go to the website, i heard the same thing, but go through the order, you can do it to check, doesnt charge you till done, and during the choosing process, there is a radio dial for lifetime.

Just go through like your buying service and youll see it, just dont hit the final commit button

I keep getting 6mo for $20 offers but I ignore them... I've heard too many horror stories of what happens when you give them your cc#.

I renewed for my wife's car. I didn't want to use my credit card and asked them to invoice me. They sent me a bill with a $2 service fee and I mailed them back a check.

I pay like $70 every year for their service. They send me renewal notices every year for like $130 or so. I then tell them I'm broke, unemployed and so on and so on. They feel sorry for me and keep extending my introductory rate.

Been doing this now for the past four years. lol

You can't move if from Car to Car. Sorry, the lifetime is only good for the car it is on now. I paid the lifetime and have confirmed the one car only deal.

Easy. Do as I have done - tell them you're not comfortable releasing your credit card information and that you will pay by check. They are OK with that.

XM's customers service is the absolute worst. Keep trying and eventually you will find someone who knows and cares, usually when you ask for the cancellation/retention department.

I like my XM radio, the only thing I do not like is that it does not sound as good as
the regular radio, sound quality to me is poor.
Put i agree with the above posts, don't pay full price, they will lower your payment to keep your bussiness.
