Just a quick question.
I am adding some paint to the car and am blacking out the trunk between the tail lights. We took off the bowtie on the back and lo and behold there are drill holes! Soooo, I am thinking about putting a 69 Camaro emblem on the back or the SS emblem. Which do you think would look better? I hope they fit. Anyone know the dimensions on the old 69 emblems?

That's a great idea! How big are the drill holes? (would you be able to see them through the letters?)

you could probably get an SS emblem and even if the the prongs are in it are off, a welder or metal fabriactor could make you prongs to fit the holes, thats assuming the emblem is old school and not plastic. I probably would have looked behind the emblem before taking it off.

I will get dimensions later today, but Yea I am worried the holes will show through. You couldn't tell if there were holes or not. We just took a chance. I can always the bowtie back on.
