Dent in roof on corner of sunroof
Anybody else notice a dent in the corner of the sunroof? Looks like it happened when they pressed sunroof in. I'm not super picky just seem like Chevy should pick up on this in assembly. I'm sure my Zl1 isn't the only one. Just a hunch. My car is 2013 Ashen Gray, so it sticks out. They would have to paint most of the car to repair it. Just gunna let it ride I guess. Just wan to see if mines the only one.

Would it show up in a picture? If so that would help. Maybe painless dent repair could get it out.

You're not alone, I noticed the same dent after picking mine up from the dealer. It is on the back corner driver's side. Haven't followed up with the dealer yet(but really should), partly b/c I don't want them messing up something trying to fix it. Isn't too noticeable.... But it is there.

Normal. It's from the stamping process. Believe me, I went to all my area dealers and looked after I noticed one on mine, and they practically all have them. If someone says they don't have one, more than likely they just haven't seen it in the correct lighting.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Looks like something in the stamping process. Figured alot of them had it, that's why I put the thread up. Makes me feel a little better I guess. I wasn't too worried about it, like somebody else said they would make things worse trying to fix it. Well I got the first dent out of the way, now I can beat the hell out of it!!

That's happened to quite a few cars, (search the forum). I showed the salesman and mentioned it when GM called my house after my purchase to find out if I was satisfied on the build quality of the car. Hopefully others are mentioning this to GM too. I have the dip in the roof in one area near the sunroof, drivers side rear.

Saw a ZL1 at my dealer yesterday, it too had the now infamous dent. Driver side rear. Chevy has to know about it, oh well
