Will SS/RS DRL housing fit non-RS?

As the post ask's -- i sold a pair of P13 plasmas to a fellow C5 member. I thought they would fit a non-RS DRL. alas they don't. I have the housings spare as i fitted the ACS T3 ports.
Question is; if i send him the DRL housings from my SS/RS will they be swap out? Of course i will be refunding if the answer is no, or sending him mine if they do.
I'm really after anyone with a definitive yes/no been there done it....

Cheers all

2010-2011 fog or drl housing will fit in the bumper. Connector on the wiring harness is different. P13W vs 5202 bulbs.
