I understand. You might be able to drive to the rail yard in Milpitas and see your car through the fence.

Also, if you haven't already, you may want to call Courtesy Chevrolet before the car reaches the dealership and let them know that you don't want the front license plate bracket installed, as it's standard procedure during the customer delivery preparation process for the dealer to drill into the front bumper to install the license plate bracket.

Courtesy Chevrolet will be performing the courtesy delivery of my ZL1 Convertible in a week or two, and, to be sure my front bumper doesn't get drilled, I've already notified them that I don't want them to install the front license plate bracket.

I told them they should should just throw out the front plate bracket so that noone is tempted to put it on. Hahah. They said they don't even put them on the LS. No need to worry. I'll still be camped out to make sure that doesn't happen. Hah

Hey GOLDENBEAR

PM me when you get your convertible. I'm in SJ. Also I was looking at your '69. I just sold my Hugger orange '69. White stripes and all. I was running a 427 with a TH400. Swapped the rally's for some billet wheels but other that that it was a z28 clone. Great car.

Will do. My 1969 Z28 is showroom stock down to the A.I.R. system, with the exception of the radial tires for driveability. I get 100 octane unleaded gas at the 76 station at Almaden Expressway and Foxworthy for the 11.0 to 1 compression of the original DZ 302 engine.
