Advice sought on $35,000 car

If your max budget was $35,000, and you want the most h.p. available for the money, what should I be looking at? Would it be the 6.2 L Camaro SS?

I paid 28k for my 2010. That gives you 7k for forced induction ect. Until recently cars with this much HP from the factory were not obtainable for a low 30k price. This is a wonderful time. The zeta platform gave hope to us "poor" boys. If your talking late model the answer is YES inmho.

So does the 2013 SS 1LE performance package fall in this price range? Would I have to go with an earlier year car. Was hoping for something new. Not sure what the 1LE even means... Thanks for your reply.

A used 2SS Camaro with under 10k miles would be your target. Best bang for the buck!

Thanks. What is a 2SS vs just the SS? I know that a ZL1 is supposed to be awesome, but no doubt not close to my budget right now.

look for some left over 2012 lot lizards, they are new and you should be getting them for under invoice, prolly about 1 to 1.5k under at this point.

2SS has a few more appearance upgrades compared to the 1SS.

One thing to remember about the 2010-11's is the passenger seat is NOT power so if your other half, if you have one is short they can not see over the dash. My wife and son have issues and need a pillow...
