Pole Dancing Classes For Kids Offered In Canada Because Parents Demanded Them, Studio Owner Says

Ballet and tap are so old-school. A dance studio in Vancouver is offering a new type of movement program for kids -- pole dancing class.
Kristy Craig, the owner of The Twisted Grip Dance and Fitness Studio says the class, which is offered to kids as young as 5, originated in response to demand from parents. “My existing students were asking about it for their children. They were saying, ‘My daughter plays on my pole at home all the time, I’d love her to actually learn how to do things property and not hurt herself,’” Craig told The National Post.
And so, "Little Spinners" was born. As of September 6, UPI reports that four kids (three girls, one boy) had signed up for the weekly class that costs a mere $70 per one hour session.

Wow, I''m pretty surprised to read this. I would have have thought it would be the other way around. Like the school offered this as a class and the parents would be upset. Sounds like the parents want the kids to learn how to pole dance. Also, pole dancing is like not usually something you see besides in bars or strip clubs. I've never heard of parents going to a pole dancing recital!

while pole dancing is a great way to stay fit, & is healthy for you its not something I want my 14yr old daughter or my 18yr old son to learn.

Its like saying that sex is great for you & allowing my 14yr old to have sex for her health NOT HAPPENING.

but on the other hand its ok for this to happen because the women was Japanese American but its Illegal
