I'm looking to add a CAI intake to my 2013 LT2 and maryland speed has a deal to add an ADM scoop. i'm new to doing mods. What is and ADM scoop? And will it require modifying the car to intall it?

So, I'm kinda new to this too, so someone correct me if I'm wrong. I believe the ADM scoop isn't a CAI. The scoop is designed to collect cooler air from beneath the vehicle and funnel it to the Air Intake. And I think the only possible modification required for something like this would be a washer fluid relocation. It's purpose is to improve the performance of CAI.

Correct. It funnels more air from the lower grill up into the CAI cavity. You have to cut away a piece of plastic to open a hole for it. Real easy if you have a dremel or something that will cut plastic in a small space.

The stock washer bottle blocks the flow of some of the air as well. I did the rotofab washer relocation and now the CAI cavity is pretty much wide open.

Correct. You can either relocate the washer fluid or just simply take it out if you don't use it. It directs air from your lower grill and forces it into the section where the intake is. It does require some grinding I believe. Easiest way to install this would be to take off the bumper.

I did mine with the bumper on. Wasn't to bad. hardest part IMO was getting the stock horn bolt out. That part would have been easier if I took the wheel well out and the front tire off. Took me maybe an hour to hour and a half.

Did mine by taking wheel off and inner fender well. Dremel with a cutoff wheel and about an hour worked great for me.

That horn bolt is indeed a PITA if the front end is still on. I got my next door neighbor to do that one.

You can get away with cutting less of the plastic if the scoop goes in from the front, i.e., if the front fascia is removed, as it is flared out at the front of the scoop. If you put it in from the wheel well, it requires a wider cut to get the scoop into place, but once it's in, you'll see that the actual opening doesn't have to be as wide as the cut. If that makes sense.

I screwed up a little and cut about an inch too much when I put the scoop in. But you cant tell at all from the front
