Ready for my next performance mod. Any suggestions?

I have already done the Araid intake, and dyno tune on my 2012 ZL1. So I'm wondering what I should do next. Just bolt ons. Should I do the upper pulley, and if so which one. Or headers and high flow cats, if so which ones. Or both or what. Pulley sound cheap an easy, so maybe, that and something else. I would like this to end up being approx 800hp when done. Any input?

Headers and hfc with ceramic coating. maybe look into American Racing Headers or Stainless Works. If you're going to 800 hp, you probably want to go with 2 inch primaries.

definitly do a cooling mod if you do a pulley. Do either the interchiller or what ever its called or do a larger heat exchanger with a larger resevior. The supercharger cooling on the zl1 doesnt even work well on stock cars. Add a pulley to the equation and it gets worse. Some kooks lt headers with no cats would also be a nice add on and remember to re tune.

Great suggestions above! Best bang for the buck is the exhaust, as noted. I'm running hi-flow catted American Racing Headers and a Borla cat-back. The changed intake and exhaust will provide a noted perfomance improvement and better sound! At that point you may want to consider a professional tune if you have local access to a reputable performance shop.

To get to 800HP is no small task - you'll require a complete project from the bottom up. Lingenfelter did mine to get 698 RWHP which is about 810 at the crank (given that manual transmissions lose about 13-15% power per conventional wisdom) and it took them 7 months to build! So.... this journey will be long, but patience will pay off -- you are off to a great start. --Rick

Let me add that, I am in Arizona, and would also appreciate any help to locate a good local performance shop to help me here.

I would try to take full advantage of the boost and airflow you have now.
Full lengths would be my next step.

First remember that you do not have a forged motor ala Zr1 and your TVS blower is 1900. If you are looking for 800, you'll need a 2300 with some ported heads, cam, long tubes ( no cats please), bigger inter cooler, bigger reservoir and tuned and you'll be closer but a ticking time bomb lol.

For now I'd get an LPE smaller puller kit, bigger inter cooler , bigger reservoir, bigger inter cooler pump from getTorq, some long tubes and a cam. You'll be in the 650's but still a ticking time bomb lol. Just my .2

By ticking time bomb, you are saying that the engine can not handle the power? or....? Long tubes without cats... I need it to pass Az smog testing.

Not saying it can't handle it but the only thing helping the engine is the fact that you have oil squirters that cool off the back of the hyperutectic pistons (which aren't forged) but ate at 9-1 compression. The rods are still powdered metal (no h-beams there). I would just keep it at around 600-650 RWHP. 800+ you better get that turd forged and stroked Fwiw.

Just my .2

Cam, headers, pulley and inter cooler mods is all I'd do.

Is that enough to make my car lift the front end off the ground at the track, I want to do a wheelie like the Copo, lol.

OP are you manual or automatic ?

Also it's hard to yank the fronts with an independent rearend compared to a live axle.
The copo is at another level lol it also doesn't weigh as much a Zl1 lol

Pirate lol it does take a while so just let it soak in for a few months and you'll have a better understanding about your car lol.
