Forgelines are on!

Tough decision buying wheels. Tony was real tolerant of my waxing and waning about just what the heck I wanted. I just could not decide...heck, sometimes I'm still not sure! Wish I could have as many sets of wheels as my wife has shoes ...that'd be awesome. Forgeline GA3's. It's amazing just how much the color and look changes depending on the light that hits it.

Finally got my vinyl gill inserts, waiting on my hash stripes.

What colors are those on the lip/center? Looks like I'll probably be getting something similar since forgestar no longer has anything silver to offer and can't get the sizing I want.

Smoked transparent or gunmetal would be my guess.

Just make sure that the shop replacing tires in a year or so know how to deal with 3 piece racing wheels. Ask me how i know.

Have a supply of Loctite 5900 on hand.

Awesome wheels!!!!! but they are finicky when the bead is disturbed.

3 Piece wheels can be a pain in the ass...you definitely need a shop that specializes in these wheels....your average Discount Tire, Just Tires isn't a good option for 3 pc wheels....

Those wheels look great! Why do the 3 piece wheels require special attention when mounting tires?

Have to be careful not to break the seal that holds the wheel together.

Thanks . Sometimes I go back and forth about them. Part of me feels the step lip makes the rim look small and it does. I wonder about the ZL1 wheels (or replicas) but the more I look at these the more I like them. I also note that as much as I wanted a "lip" it does give it a tad of a retro feel.
