It happened.
Never thought it would. This is my first accident in 6 years of driving. Here's a few pics:
![]() ![]() ![]() I would handle the damage myself if it were just the bumper. You can see in the first picture that the hood is a bit offset. There is definitely some frame damage that can be seen in the second picture. I'm already set up to have it looked at on Monday morning. I'm considering getting the ZL1 front bumper since I'm already in this situation. I guess I'm wondering if they would pay the difference between the normal LT bumper and the ZL1 bumper. I appreciate any advice you guys have. |

Wow man, that's too bad. I'm thinking that the insurance will only pay to put it back to factory since that's how is currently is. You can make a deal with the body shop to pay the difference.

Sorry to hear man! Good luck getting her all restored. Maybe it'll give you an opportunity to do a few upgrades in the process since you'll have to replace some stuff.

sorry to hear that man. but the insurance company will not pay for a zl1 bumper. you pay your deductible, and they will get you what you had and if you want to get the zl1 bumper then tell your body shop so they can order it from you. if you would rather pay out of pocket, you can pay the extra $800 for the ZL1 bumper if you'd like since the stock v6 bumper is around $400.

Nah... Bumblebee got way more torn up than that in the past and ended up good as new.
