His viewpoints on politics were more accurate than any politician i've seen, to this day, aside from Ron Paul, Gary Johnson, Dennis Kucinich and a few others.

Could not agree more. This man was right about who runs the world. The super rich will always run this world now.

Carlin was a genius and had the nerve to say things publicly on stage most would never have to courage to mention. One of the few that is remembered by his contemporaries as "the master".

Muslims never vocalized issues with him because (as with most comedians) he never went after targets that actually fought back. It's easy to merely go after the easy targets.

No, not one of the best comedians. Definitely not THE best.

His points on religion are full of lies, allow me to point out something he said about religion that is provably false:

Carlin: "If you read history, you realize God is one of the leading causes of death."

WRONG.

The leading cause of death in human history are wars for political manipulation/military power, not religion. WWII has the greatest casualties of any war in human history, yet it was not a "religious" war.

People need to learn facts instead of perpetuating lies. This "List of Wars and Anthropogenic Disasters by Death Toll" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._by_death_toll) will help teach people to stop defending anti-Christian bigots.
